MINISTRIES

Worship at New Faith is interactive and participatory. It is a blended service, with praise music, standard hymns, and music gathered into an eclectic mix.
The New Faith music team consists of acoustic guitars and bass and percussive instruments. There is no designated choir; we add our voices as ability and talent permit.

At New Faith, we take Lay Leadership seriously. Every person is invited to find, claim, and activate their gifts for the good of the community, whether in worship or outside our walls.
The heart of worship is the Word and Wisdom that comes from Scriptures, and from the heart of each believer. With an Interactive message, we add our thoughts and challenges to the sermon in a time of discussion immediately after the message.

Children are welcome in worship! We enjoy their joyful noise, but also realize the importance of learning, with Sunday School held during the worship service.

Adult Christian Education

Clases are held throughout the year, whether before worship, or during the week. One ongoing study group is "Way Beyond Cool," studying scriptures and a variety of books that rethink the traditional Christian paradigm.

A weekly contemplative meditation and prayer circle, Seekers, meets to deepen our awareness and connection with the Holy Presence of God.

Outreach

The Placer County Receiving Home exists to help children who have been removed from their homes because of neglect or abuse. New Faith is committed to a variety of ministry projects, whether our Sox & Boxers monthly offering or the annual Christmas for Teens, so the children know they are remembered.
